What does a General Medical and Surgical Nurse do?

  • preparing treatment and discharge plans
  • maintaining patient files

You will also need to work closely with a range of colleagues, including:

  • surgeons

What qualifications and experience do you need to work as a General Medical and Surgical Nurse with Medacs?

  • a nursing degree
  • to be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • at least 12 months of post-qualification experience
